The organic dehydrater is specialized product to control side effects of food waste when placed in the bin. The organic dehydrater functions as its named, it dehydrates the food waste to control flies, odour, liquid, and minimizes the portion as it dries over time. A new approach to dealing with food waste as it does not require any source of power.
Rising Problem
The growing food waste around the world is becoming a world issue as it pollutes the soil, air, and the wildlife. The food waste continues to grow as food becomes abundance and people lose intrinsic value of the food. We continue to destroy our planet, yet there is not a clear solution to this issue. The biggest contributor of food waste turns out to be us the household and I aim to resolve this problem through a innovative product to minimize the food waste and encourage people to participate in reducing the harm to our planet
Aim
Through the observation the "HOUSEHOLDS" does not favor the use of existing food waste bin due to many negative factors when the food waste bin is in use. By designing a innovative food waste bin I aim to encourage the user to participate in distinguishing food waste over other kinds of waste and to ease the food waste management by eliminating the existing issues with the current food waste bin that resulted discouraging the user from using the bin
What
Biggest contributor of food waste comes form HOUSEHOLDS. The food waste bin used from many households are just a simple plastic bin. The food waste in the food waste bin causes unpleasant smell & look during the decaying process.
Why
Many food waste bin is purely designed to store the food waste. The food waste will rot and smell over time as decaying process progress. The odor from the container can be challenging to control. The environment of the food was bin is influenced based on room temperature, the warmer the room, the quicker the decomposing progress.
Through dehydrating process the food waste can decay in a sufficient time frame. In the process the food waste will be decomposed with no to minimal smell, eliminating the juice, shrinking the size of food waste to ease food waste managing in household environment with minimal care.
